School of Spiritual Formation

The goal of the School of Spiritual Formation is to help women embrace God’s love and become a living expression of this love. The program is based on the teachings of St. Francis de Sales.
The school is carried out with a two-year program consisting of private video meetings given by the director, but also cohort (group) meetings with others who are also directees.
Year One: School of Philothea - LIVE WELL
Year Two: School of Theotimus - LOVE WELL
Each year consists of two semesters of XX number of weeks each, with XX number of individual video meetings given by the director and XX number of cohort meetings.
The School of Spiritual Formation also requires the viewing of XX number of online video presentations by the director, as well as some reading and writing assignments.
We will take only a limited number of students in this two-year period. Applicants need to explain why they want to take the program, and show that they will commit themselves to follow through on it.
Certificate of Spiritual Formation
An optional certificate is offered for the school. This is helpful for providing validation of your knowledge in applying as a parish volunteer or other position.
To get the Certificate for the Spiritual Formation you must finish the Spiritual Exercises program — a nine-month intense Spiritual Direction guided program based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola — but enriched with Salesian Spirituality. This will be made available to you upon request.
